High School Announcements



Today’s lunch menu is Thanksgiving turkey and gravy with cranberries or Salisbury steak sandwich, soft pan roll, mashed potatoes, vegetable bar, fruit and milk.


The meals on wheels volunteer today is Charity Daniels.


Alacarte items are available only for students who have money in their lunch account.


There will be a late bus today. It leaves Harmony at 5:45 and Preston at 6:00.


Reminder: varsity volleyball banquet will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19th at 6 pm in the high school cafeteria.  Those players who have not yet turned in jerseys, get them turned in asap. Madison Scheevel, Cailey Rindels, Madison Bakken.


Attention football players, remember to pay Brady Ristau the $5 for the coaches’ gifts if you haven’t yet.

Juniors and seniors: reminder that today is the deadline for the ExCEL and AAA applications. Get them to Mr. Chris Mensink today if you have not already done so.


Seniors: Remember that your baby pictures and senior pictures for the yearbook are due Dec. 1st.  In addition, reminder to all students: yearbook orders are also due by Dec. 1st in order to get a free name stamp. And that’s only 2 weeks away!


Photography club: Photos of “what you are thankful for” are due to Mrs. Mehus today.


If you are 18 years old and looking for a part-time custodian job, see Mindy for more info.


If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, are a person who knows the difference between having character and being a character, show leadership by serving your community, AND are a junior or a senior, you just might have the “right stuff” to be an NHS member. Get your application from Mr. Elliott today if you have not already done so.


Last chance to apply for the one act play crew!  Forms are due to Mrs. Whitacre today.  Auditions are Monday at 6:30 in the stage gym!


7-12 Boys basketball players: There will be a parent/player meeting Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 pm in Preston in the stage gym. Uniforms, schedules, and team rules will be handed out by the coaching staff.


Remember Seniors: Your first half class dues for the trip are due today!

The World's Toughest Rodeo will be on Saturday Jan. 6th. Permission forms and sign up sheets are available on the board outside of the Ag room and are due back to Mr. Lapham by Nov. 28th.  Payment can be made by cash, check, or online.
